What software do I need?

You need to use the Remote Desktop Connection (Windows XP,Vista and Windows 7.



Enter your server address supplied buy Appserve, you address may look like this (tp.appserve.com.au:2222) the number will be the server number allocated to you
This information is supplied when you sign up to Appserve.

You need to enter the options to RDC for your display size and select disk drives tick box so you can access your local drive.

Under General settings save your connection to your documents folder and give it the name of the application you are going to connect to eg. MYOB

Then go to your documents folder and select the RDC file icon and send to your desktop as a short cut. That’s it
Now you are ready to connect.

MACINTOSH SETUP


On MAC OS X, you need to install Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection which you can download and install from Microsoft (Click Here)

How do I use files in my local computer with the server application?

When you connect using RDC(Remote Desktop Connection), you can choose to allow access Disk Drives.

Once you connect, you local hard drives will appear as Network Drives in RDC.

Why don’t the Numpad keys don't work on my mac?

Answer: On your mac keyboard secect the "clear" button over "7" in the numpad.

I can not print to my USB printer in Windows XP. What can I do?

Download and install this file . Restart your computer and try again.
